A Little Clarification

I think I need to make one thing absolutely clear. This is not an anti-Edward Cullen blog. No way it could be since I have not read the series, let alone the first book—I am actually waiting for the library to email me when it's my turn to get them on CD. For me, it's the only way to go—listening to books on CD. It allows me to be free to do other tasks while I listen, like design or draw.

So, once again, this blog is in no way anti-Edward—it's just set up for the guys whose better halves are obsessed with the Twilight series—to whatever degree their obsession may be.

A Few Good Men...

I was talking with a friend earlier about this blog, and he suggested we make of list of possible men who could take on Edward and actually win. In my opinion, the list is small, but it does exist.

Here's what I have so far:

• Chuck Norris (no contest)
• Jack Bauer
• John McClane
• John Wayne (if he was still alive)

Like I said, the list is small, but it's there. There might be more out there—let me know if you think you have a potential candidate to add to the list.

The Latest Scoop on the Twilight movie

My wife found this the other day—go figure—and I thought I'd share it.

I think it's great that they are going the route of making this movie appeal to both female and male. This is going to be a big hit this winter—and I am sure it will be added to our collection of movies when it comes out on DVD.

Welcome to the Group...

Well, I figured this is long overdue, especially since my lovely wife (and now die-hard Edward Cullen fan) is now reading Eclipse for the third time—in less than a month.

Welcome to the Vampire Support Group—yeah, yeah, I know the idea is cheesy, but I thought better now than never to get on the Edward Cullen band wagon. The idea behind this blog is to give the husbands/boyfriends of the crazed throng of Edward Cullen fans a place to discuss/vent their thoughts and feeling about the series and the effect it's had on everything—and I mean everything. Plus, I will try and keep everyone abreast of the Twilight movie due out in December—definitely more than just a chick flick romance with a vampire...

I am hopefully going to post at least once a week to start—and we'll go from there. Hopefully, this will catch on and in the next month or so we'll have a following of our own.
